Construction Surveillance Technician

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and report construction site work to ensure security compliance
• Evaluate and develop physical, personnel, and technical security measures
• Produce written reports and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite
• Conduct physical equipment and personnel searches while on site
• Operate technical security devices and monitoring systems individually or in a team
• Report suspicious behavior, security infractions, and deviations from ICD-705 standards

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance
• Minimum of 6 months of security experience and/or 2 years of construction or trades experience
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day and walk on uneven surfaces
• Ability to climb stairs multiple times during a shift and lift up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work night shifts (1700-0500), weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant military experience (e.g., Infantry, Technical Surveillance, or Security Protection Details)
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding construction project cycles
• Knowledge of construction trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry
• Familiarity with ICD-705 standards for SCIF construction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
