Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise store openings ensuring cost, time, and quality standards are met
• Validate and adjust construction schedules to align with client operations and project milestones
• Control costs against approved budgets and document all variations
• Verify quality according to plans, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Implement preventive field corrections to avoid rework and delays
• Ensure Health and Safety (SST) compliance, including permits and audits
• Manage documentation such as electronic logs, estimates, and photographic reports
• Follow up on material and critical equipment supply programs
• Validate executed works and manage Change Orders (CO) and punch lists

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in retail/commercial construction or light building supervision
• Proven history working with retail chains (e.g., AutoZone, OXXO, 7-Eleven, Home Depot)
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, progress control, and project closing (punchlist)
• Knowledge of MEP installations (electrical, HVAC, hydraulic)
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Office
• Ability to work night shifts or weekends as required by operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with verification units in civil works/installations
• Experience with premium finishes and high-end retail stores (e.g., Liverpool, Sears)
• AutoCAD proficiency for plan review and marking
• DC-3 certifications, working at heights, or first aid
• Exposure to ISO 9001/45001 standards
