Construction Supervisor - Civil

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of structural components, including foundations, beams, columns, and other structural elements
• Verify that construction work complies with design plans, specifications, codes, and standards
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports
• Identify and report any deficiencies or deviations from approved plans
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project quality
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections and related documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards
• Proficiency in inspection tools and software

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Structural Inspector (e.g., ICC Structural Inspector)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and codes
