Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Encourage stakeholders to respect current workplace safety rules on site
• Monitor each stage of work to ensure quality of execution by the contractor
• Read, interpret, and compare plans and specifications to the work performed and report discrepancies
• Examine the quality of completed work to ensure compliance with standards
• Validate quantities related to executed works to recommend payments
• Maintain good collaboration with all stakeholders
• Write daily reports on work progress
• Execute any other related tasks

Requirements

• DEC in civil engineering
• 5 years of relevant experience in urban and road work supervision
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (an asset)
• Valid driver's license and ASP construction card
• Report writing and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
