Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety standards through daily site inspections and safety reporting
• Partner with Pre-construction and Project Management to coordinate construction project execution
• Develop and implement detailed schedules and production plans to align with budget and safety goals
• Manage contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers from inception to completion
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and scopes of work
• Monitor construction quality based on design specifications, brand standards, and code requirements
• Arrange required inspections with local and federal agencies
• Support the Operations team during the turnover process and resolve subsequent maintenance issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five years of construction management experience
• OSHA 40 certification (required after hire)
• Forklift certification
• Proven experience in project management and bidding
• Ability to travel more than 75%
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various construction site conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management
• Experience in retail fuel construction
• Knowledge of fuel-related construction processes
• Experience working with various trades including framing, steel, concrete, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
