Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all trade groups and subcontractors to ensure execution aligns with the Statement of Work (SOW)
• Maintain the master project schedule through meticulous planning and "3-week look-ahead" schedules
• Collaborate with Project Engineers on material takeoffs and ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies
• Inspect work across all trades to ensure compliance with federal plans, specifications, and GSI quality standards
• Act as the onsite safety lead, enforcing EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations
• Lead weekly progress meetings and facilitate Quality Control (QC) preparatory meetings and inspections
• Assist in drafting subcontract scopes, project estimates, bid packages, and budget preparations

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• 5+ years of experience leading large-scale projects
• OSHA 30-Hour certification
• 5+ years of documented Construction Safety Training
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management applications
• Valid Driver’s License with a clear abstract
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Department of Defense (DoD) contracting
• Current EM 385-1-1 certification
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
