Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Coach subcontractors on safe construction practices
• Perform quality control and ensure subcontractor deficiencies are corrected
• Maintain project schedules and establish critical paths for subcontractors and vendors
• Facilitate and encourage subcontractor coordination
• Work with design teams and owners to overcome challenges and unforeseen conditions
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Provide daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates

Requirements

• 5-10 years of construction experience
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing
• Understanding of ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to travel within the Bay Area
