Responsibilities

• Ensure work is completed per schedule and within the budget
• Maintain necessary paperwork and keep accurate records
• Perform assigned work in accordance with OSHA, Customer and ABEL Safety Standards
• Maintain all of the company’s tools and equipment in a secure manner
• Coordinate with all subcontractors onsite and run weekly subcontractor meetings
• Provide daily communication and updates to the Project Manager and Owner Representative
• Organize and manage crews for self-performed tasks
• Counsel field employees in Abel Quality Policy awareness
• Attend bi-annual superintendent quality improvement team meetings

Requirements

• 5 years working in the construction industry
• Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints
• Experience with job scheduling and allotted time
• Ability to utilize project management software for daily and safety reports
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Current First Aid / CPR certification
• Ability to obtain OSHA "Ten" for the Construction Industry certification within the first year
