Construction Sr. Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and estimators with bid document preparation and material take-offs
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotes for supplies and services
• Facilitate permit applications with local authorities, environmental agencies, and state or federal entities
• Prepare and track the progress of Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Coordinate the preparation of contract submittals, including QC plans, safety plans, and vendor data
• Inspect and document site environmental protection measures, construction progress, and subcontractor performance
• Act as quality control and assurance to ensure project objectives are met
• Ensure all construction safety rules and regulations are strictly observed
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to comprehend written or verbal graphic instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Primavera P6
• Construction Quality Control certification
• Safety Trained Supervisor certification
