Responsibilities
As a Construction Site Supervisor (BPU), you are responsible for monitoring production in a performance contract and ensuring that the contract is implemented according to the contract, requirements, and set quality goals. The role involves coordination, control, and follow-up within the areas of road and safety, structural works, or environment.
Coordinating BPU / Road and Safety BPU:
- Responsible for ongoing follow-up of production, progress, quantities, traffic during construction, and the working environment
- Participate in construction, production, and technical meetings, as well as inspections and surveys
- Review MSS, manage UR, contracts, and deviations, and prepare weekly reports
- Coordinate other BPUs, develop control plans, and perform APU controls in BUS
Structural Works BPU:
- Follow up on structural works contracts through site visits, meetings, and inspections
- Review MSS and perform contract follow-up
- Conduct controls according to the control plan and prepare documentation for UR and ÄTA
- Collect and follow up on relationship documentation from the contractor
Environmental BPU:
- Participate in meetings, environmental rounds, and inspections
- Review environmental plans and check compliance with environmental requirements, authority requirements, and protective measures
- Follow up on facility parts and activities with environmental impact
- Document and report controls in Miljösäkring Plan och Bygg and MiljöWebb Landskap
Requirements
Coordinating BPU / Road and Safety BPU:
- Experience as a site manager or BPU in at least 2 road projects during the production phase (min. 40 mkr size)
- At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years as a site manager/BPU
- Documented experience with road and MER, AMA, AB04, and ABK 09
- Approved BAS-U training (not older than 5 years)
- Steps 2.2 and 2.3 according to TDOK 2018:0371
Structural Works BPU:
- At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years as a site manager/BPU
- Completed training in "Concrete structures - Execution - Application of SS-EN 13670:2009 in Sweden", Annex J, Competence Class I-U
Environmental BPU:
- At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years as a BPU within the environmental field
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and ordinances within the relevant area
