Construction Site Manager - Nuclear

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of construction and start-up for nuclear projects
• Direct overall construction efforts, including coordination of erection activities, suppliers, subcontractors, and testing
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality performance to ensure alignment with established plans
• Implement project construction safety, health, and loss control procedures to meet safety targets
• Lead the site management team and mentor site staff to maintain high morale and team building
• Manage change orders, subcontractor progress payments, and contract closeout activities
• Champion LEAN concepts and continuous improvement efforts on-site

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction management experience on similar projects with a Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of total experience, including at least 3 years at a superintendent level or above on large projects
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and varying outdoor conditions
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts and perform physical labor in a construction environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a conventional generation construction management role
