Construction Site Inspector

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit sites to inspect construction activities
• Complete technical site surveys and foresee issues with proposed works
• Ensure on-site company procedures and standards are followed for structure development and removal
• Complete Health and Safety (H&S) audits and inspections
• Resolve snagging issues with subcontractors and report to Project Managers
• Complete build sign-off audits and reports
• Track stock movements and own regional stock audits
• Record data, reports, and RAMS accurately on company systems
• Support local, regional, or national initiatives such as tender support
• Build relationships with external contractors and internal teams

Requirements

• On-site experience in construction
• Survey skills for commercial and technical viability assessment
• Knowledge of H&S, Lifting Operations, Permitting, and Highway Regs
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and NRSWA 1991
• NRSWA Supervisor qualification
• Ability to read RAMS and complete risk assessments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to commit to a 24-month fixed term contract
