Construction Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delegated site activities and project issues
• Ensure adherence to QHSE standards on site
• Liaise with Clients and Client Representatives on site matters
• Communicate with Project Managers, Design Leads, and Sub-Consultants
• Oversee equipment installation and commissioning activities
• Manage site-based operatives, including safety inductions and tool box talks
• Monitor and track project budgets and timelines
• Provide site supervision cover for the construction site manager

Requirements

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Science
• Essential practical site experience
• Experience in project teams from design to delivery stages
• Ability to manage and coordinate site activities independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the execution of water or wastewater engineering projects
