Construction Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction portion of projects from proposal preparation through to mechanical completion
• Support the project manager by participating in the estimating stage and defining the construction scope of work
• Conduct site visits during the bid stage to identify constraints, permits, licenses, and special requirements
• Perform constructability reviews during basic and detailed engineering phases to determine cost-effective modularization
• Initiate and periodically update the construction execution plan
• Lead the construction project team and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Implement progress monitoring techniques for subcontractors in accordance with company policies
• Review bid tabulations and forward subcontract documents to site managers for administration

Requirements

• BS / BA or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects valued at $25 million or greater
• Broad understanding of various construction disciplines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other industry-specific software applications
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
