Construction Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with jurisdictional entities including municipalities, counties, DOT, and other agencies
• Work with the permitting team to secure permits efficiently while ensuring adherence to all requirements
• Coordinate approvals, ensure regulatory compliance, and resolve bureaucratic issues to keep projects on track
• Communicate daily with project managers regarding progress on assigned sites and provide feedback to head off construction delays
• Attend construction meetings and walk potential sites to ensure the feasibility of fiber designs
• Communicate with the public regarding construction concerns pertaining to their property
• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness
• Liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals and maintain records for site personnel

Requirements

• Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and operate heavy equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of civil construction management or permitting experience
• Proficiency in CAE and CAD applications
