About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field execution activities for the construction quality organization supporting reactor construction and infrastructure installation
  • Supervise Construction Quality Technicians and Inspectors to ensure procedural compliance and technical rigor
  • Coordinate inspection activities, witness points, hold points, and turnover documentation across multiple subcontractor trades
  • Provide quality oversight for geotechnical, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation operations
  • Ensure construction records, material traceability, and as-built documentation remain accurate and audit-ready
  • Support investigation and resolution of nonconformances and technical documentation gaps
  • Identify emerging execution risks and contractor performance concerns
  • Conduct subcontractor quality system audits

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or engineering-related education preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial, nuclear, power generation, aerospace, or semiconductor construction quality
  • 5+ years of experience leading field quality personnel or inspection teams
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures
  • Familiarity with construction verification, material traceability, and regulated quality systems
  • Ability to work in active construction environments including outdoor conditions and elevated structures
  • Willingness to support demanding schedules including extended hours and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with nuclear construction, NQA-1 environments, or DOE projects
  • Experience with ASME-related construction activities
  • Multidisciplinary experience in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and welding
  • Experience coordinating quality across multiple subcontractors in a general contractor environment
  • Familiarity with nonconformance systems and root cause investigations
