Construction Quality Inspector - E&I

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of all Quality and HSE procedures and standards for assigned subcontractor activities.
• Perform inspections on subcontractor activities to ensure conformity to site inspection plans, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.
• Support the Construction Material Controller by checking supplier materials prior to the commencement of works.
• Verify that subcontractor manpower and equipment meet applicable procedural requirements and calibration standards.
• Identify design errors and inform Site Engineers to facilitate necessary changes.
• Promote non-conformity reporting and support the Construction Manager in resolving non-conformities.
• Manage Requests for Inspection (RFI) from subcontractors and coordinate with the Client for inspections.
• Take responsibility for remedial actions in the event of Client rejections to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience in industrial construction.
• Proven experience working on large or XL gas plant projects.
• Demonstrated experience in at least 2-3 comparable large-scale projects.
• Strong attention to detail and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
