Construction Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of quality control for Department of Defense (DOD) construction projects onsite
• Implement the “Three Phases of Control” for all definable features of work
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications
• Prepare and submit daily quality control reports and maintain testing logs
• Conduct weekly CQC meetings with clients and subcontractors
• Stop work that does not comply with contract requirements and direct necessary corrective actions
• Oversee the review and approval of design and construction submittals
• Update As-Built drawings and perform punch-list and pre-final inspections
• Review invoices to ensure work is completed in accordance with the contract

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a US accredited college in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• Current Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certificate
• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
• Familiarity with US Army Corps of Engineers requirements
• Knowledge of Engineer Manual 385-1-1 and experience in hazard identification and safety compliance
