Construction Quality Assurance WABO-Certified Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance/control inspections and material testing
• Review approved construction drawings and specifications
• Communicate findings to contractors, foremen, project managers, and building inspectors
• Write concise inspection reports using specific contract and code language
• Supervise and train junior inspectors and testing technicians
• Perform observations and inspections related to Concrete, Steel, and Civil works
• Verify material compliance with plans and specifications
• Ensure work adheres to Contract, Specifications, and RFC plans
• Complete quality records for material testing and hold-point inspections
• Initiate non-conformance processes for non-compliant materials or work

Requirements

• WABO certification
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain certifications for in-field material testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a project quality role
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (3-5 years relevant experience)
