Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior construction representative for the Memphis data center, managing relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
• Coordinate multiple vendors and trade partners to ensure seamless communication between field teams and engineering disciplines
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks regarding safety, schedule adherence, and operational readiness
• Drive project progress and resolve roadblocks for complex, multi-phase timelines
• Align construction schedules with broader infrastructure and AI supercomputing goals
• Partner with engineering and commissioning teams to guide technical integration
• Deliver regular updates using KPIs, dashboards, and reports
• Manage change orders and identify value-engineered solutions to control costs
• Lead site safety initiatives and foster an effective safety culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects (data centers, mission-critical, or industrial)
• Strong engineering background with ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proven success leading on-site construction teams and managing multiple vendors
• Excellent communication skills for both field-level and technical engineering escalations
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on site needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in data center or hyperscale construction projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced engineering credentials
• Familiarity with Memphis/Shelby County building codes and permitting
• Experience with commissioning, MEP systems, or structural works
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, or Bluebeam
