Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise construction projects including renovations, relocations, dispositions, closures, and new builds
• Drive project start-up processes, including project plans, budgets, work breakdown structures, and risk management
• Prepare initial construction estimates, manage bidding processes, and select design firms and contractors
• Coordinate the creation of approved space plans, architectural plans, and construction scopes of work
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and the approval process to ensure financial alignment
• Supervise local job superintendents or owner's representatives to track day-to-day site progress
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Conduct due diligence for M&A targets, including site inspections and condition assessments
• Facilitate project handover to internal stakeholders and ensure proper close-out procedures are completed

Requirements

• University Degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline
• 5 years of experience in designing and building industrial, manufacturing, or laboratory spaces
• Extensive experience managing budgets for large, high-cost, and high-complexity construction projects
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, design processes, and project management principles
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities
