Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and consultants at all project stages
• Manage project finances, including client invoicing and budget monitoring
• Develop detailed project plans and manage change control processes
• Facilitate project information flow through regular meetings and written communication
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
• Prepare formal project budget progress reports and construct new work proposals
• Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems

Requirements

• Experience in construction project management and delivery processes
• Proven experience managing commercial ground-up real estate projects
• 3 years of experience managing fire station construction projects
• Experience as a Project Engineer for a General Contractor
• Proficiency in Smartsheet (developing forms, dashboards, and reports)
• Ability to travel daily to client or project sites and traverse active construction sites
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing roles

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Construction Management or a related field
• PMP certification
• Smartsheet certification
• CMIT-1 certification
• Membership in relevant professional organizations
