Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of data center construction from design review to commissioning and handover
• Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Review design drawings and technical submittals for compliance
• Manage change control, progress tracking, and budget adherence
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for key systems
• Serve as primary liaison with local authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure all permits, licenses, and inspections are completed on schedule
• Lead commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, BMS, and security systems
• Develop and implement SOPs and EOPs for facility systems
• Oversee daily facility operations, preventive maintenance, and vendor management post-commissioning
• Monitor and optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and energy efficiency

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure
• Experience in construction project management
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
• Knowledge of data center industry best practices (ISO, Uptime Institute, TIA-942)
• Experience with commissioning and operational readiness
