Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for data center construction, owning cost, schedule, scope, quality, and safety
• Manage general contractors, architects, MEP engineers, and specialty subcontractors
• Drive coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including utility power, UPS, and cooling infrastructure
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and identify critical-path risks
• Manage project budgets, change orders, contingency, and forecasting
• Own the commissioning process (L1–L5) in partnership with the CxA
• Enforce a strict safety culture for energized electrical environments
• Manage long-lead equipment procurement and vendor coordination
• Support due diligence on site selection and constructability

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction project management experience
• 3+ years delivering data centers or comparable mission-critical facilities
• Direct working knowledge of data center MEP systems (power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling)
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and Uptime Institute Tier standards
• Ability to manage multimillion-dollar budgets and complex schedules
• Proficiency in P6, MS Project, or Procore
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Willingness to travel to and be on-site at project locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering for hyperscale or colocation clients
• Exposure to liquid-cooling deployments and high-density rack environments
• PMP, CCM, or relevant OSHA certifications
• Experience managing projects in greenfield or speculative-build environments
