Construction Project Manager (MEP)

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-phase construction execution for the Clay, NY campus, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and process systems (MEP).
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Coordinate MEP activities between internal teams, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Utilize digital tools including BIM, AI-enabled systems, and Procore to track progress, manage documentation, and control costs.
• Manage permits, approvals, and interactions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Lead coordination meetings and provide regular project updates to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore.
• Demonstrated expertise in schedule management, risk mitigation, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multi-priority management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM.
• Deep knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and safety regulations.
• Specific experience coordinating MEP systems in complex facility environments.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
