Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction portion of projects from proposal preparation through to mechanical completion
• Support the project manager by participating in the estimating stage and preparing construction estimate checklists
• Conduct site visits during the bid stage to identify constraints, special requirements, permits, and licenses
• Define the scope of work for construction and determine all necessary execution requirements
• Participate in constructability reviews during basic and detailed engineering phases to optimize modularization
• Initiate and periodically update the construction execution plan
• Lead the construction project team and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Implement progress monitoring techniques for subcontractors in accordance with company policies

Requirements

• BS / BA or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects valued at $25 million or greater
• Broad understanding of various construction disciplines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other industry-specific software applications
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
