About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead MEP projects exceeding $500 million in the advanced technology facilities market, including semiconductor, data center, and battery manufacturing.
- Provide guidance to estimators and engineers during the development phase of collaborative contract models.
- Own the project schedule, scope, and budget as projects advance into the construction phase.
- Participate in task force meetings with designers and engineers to ensure constructability.
- Develop project schedule logic, including sequencing and work breakdown structures.
- Communicate project status and details to executive management, stakeholders, owners, and permitting agencies.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Support the selection of key subcontractors and trade partners.
- Review and assist with proposals in collaboration with the Business Development team.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related technical discipline with at least 8 years of Project Management experience.
- Alternatively, at least 12 years of Project Management experience on engineering/construction projects if no degree is held.
- Proven ability to generate conceptual estimates for the Advanced Technology Facilities market.
- Experience leading matrixed teams of engineers, project controls, and schedulers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments.
- Willingness to travel to project locations across North America for the duration of assignments.
