Construction Project Manager IV

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Owner through the pre-construction phase and prepare RFQ documents
• Participate in proposal reviews, interviews, and the selection of Progressive Design Build Entities
• Manage design phases, coordinate meetings, and track design review comments to resolution
• Monitor onsite construction activities, schedules, and material/equipment verification
• Manage site acquisition and the CEQA process
• Evaluate contractor change order proposals for merit, cost, and schedule impact
• Manage RFIs, RFCs, and submittals, ensuring timely responses and compliance
• Verify and recommend approval of contractor progress payments
• Coordinate inspections and testing with Inspectors and Agency Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 15 years of experience, with 8 years specifically in California
• Experience in new parking garage construction and office TI type construction
• Experience with the CEQA process and Calfire OSFM
• Experience working on California Public Works or federal projects
• Experience in renovation projects and ground-up new construction
• Experience with progressive design-build deliveries
• 8 years of experience as an owner’s representative
• Based in Sacramento
