Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of new construction and acquisition-rehabilitation projects
• Review project designs for constructability, budget, and schedule alignment
• Develop preliminary construction budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
• Manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasting tools
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements and change orders
• Manage project documentation within Procore, including RFIs and submittals
• Supervise and support Superintendents and field staff through coaching and mentorship
• Coordinate permit acquisition and regulatory approvals with local jurisdictions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing residential or multifamily construction projects
• Experience developing and forecasting complex construction budgets and schedules
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Valid California driver's license with ability to travel to project sites
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and navigate construction sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing affordable housing or nonprofit development projects
• Experience with publicly funded housing developments and compliance
• PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
• Experience supervising construction field staff and multidisciplinary teams
