Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, and risk assessment
• Manage cost estimation and create cost control plans for all project phases
• Oversee bidding, procurement, and contract management for design, construction, and long-lead equipment
• Ensure project compliance with US regulations and manage government permit applications
• Manage technical, quality, safety, and timeline aspects of projects
• Coordinate with construction firms, supervisory, and contracting units
• Organize factory acceptance tests, commissioning, and validation
• Lead final inspection, handover, documentation review, and project settlement
• Report project progress and analyze lessons learned for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in biopharmaceuticals
• Substantial project management and facility operations experience
• Hands-on experience managing construction from requirement collection through to final settlement
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6
• Understanding of US building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with construction estimating and scheduling tools
• Familiarity with biopharmaceutical industry standards
