Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for planning, budgeting, and controlling cost and schedule performance
• Manage construction projects by proactively controlling scope, schedule, and budget using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend corrective actions
• Lead constructability reviews during the design process and evaluate impacts to cost and schedule
• Organize, direct, and manage teams of workers including work schedules and resource allocation
• Provide leadership and technical advice regarding health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and regulatory entities
• Utilize computerized work management systems to track job activities and coordinate deliveries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized project management courses
• Ten (10) years of work experience, with at least 5 years in engineering, procurement, or construction
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance
• Advanced experience managing construction project scope, schedule, and budget
• Proficiency with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, construction management, and D&D (Decontamination and Decommissioning)
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Understanding of work hazards, safety practices, and lock-out/tag-out procedures
