Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of pre-construction, bid, award, construction, and close-out phases
• Act as an Owner's Representative with direct client-facing responsibilities
• Review pre-construction documents and submit comments to designers
• Coordinate with public agencies and district staff to ensure compliance
• Manage daily activities of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects
• Negotiate contractor change order proposals and manage schedule impacts
• Oversee project controls, cost, schedule, and performance activities
• Conduct project meetings and provide documentation and tracking
• Ensure adherence to safety, performance, and equipment contractual requirements
• Manage project logistics, organization, and workforce utilization
• Ensure project closeout including guarantees and warranties

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong working knowledge of low voltage, IT, and hospital-specific mechanical and plumbing utilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of Project Management experience
• CCM or PMP certification
• Experience in occupied hospital spaces working with physicians and staff
• Knowledge of MEP design and OSHPD sector practices in California
• Experience with Infection and Dust Control in occupied spaces
• Proficiency in Primavera (P6) or Prolog
