Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to ensure accuracy
• Prepare General Conditions and establish baseline schedules for subcontractors or self-performing teams
• Track project costs and complete change management, RFIs, and owner pay applications
• Oversee shop drawings and submittals
• Write subcontracts and purchase orders
• Manage subcontractor relationships and conduct regular jobsite coordination meetings
• Manage client relationships and provide ongoing communication
• Help establish field office in the Bay Area and lead a team

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in K-12, College, or University sectors
• Experience with DSA oversight or managed projects
• Ability to negotiate, write, and execute subcontract agreements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to relocate to or near Half Moon Bay

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Degree in construction management, architecture, mechanical or civil engineering, construction tech, interior design, or business administration
