About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide complete, cradle-to-grave project management and execution services for repair and construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within approved scope, and within budget.
  • Manage engineering projects from requirements development through design approval, contract award, and construction completion.
  • Provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and risk assessments to support project prioritization.
  • Coordinate internal design efforts and facilitate external A/E design efforts through effective communication.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, requirements validation, and the generation of specifications.
  • Prepare and present briefings to Kirtland AFB government counterparts and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in applied science (Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, etc.).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in project management.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ABET or NAAB accredited degree in engineering, architecture, or construction/facility management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience working at a military installation, specifically a US Air Force base.
  • Proficiency in CAD, ESRI ArcGIS, or specialized project management software.
