About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide complete, cradle-to-grave project management and execution services for repair and construction projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within approved scope, and within budget.
- Manage engineering projects from requirements development through design approval, contract award, and construction completion.
- Provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and risk assessments to support project prioritization.
- Coordinate internal design efforts and facilitate external A/E design efforts through effective communication.
- Participate in technical design reviews, requirements validation, and the generation of specifications.
- Prepare and present briefings to Kirtland AFB government counterparts and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applied science (Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, etc.).
- Minimum of three years of experience in project management.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ABET or NAAB accredited degree in engineering, architecture, or construction/facility management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working at a military installation, specifically a US Air Force base.
- Proficiency in CAD, ESRI ArcGIS, or specialized project management software.
