Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, thorough, and timely quantity takeoffs using company format and coding
• Provide information to senior estimators and change managers to develop accurate clarifications and assumptions
• Obtain clarification on change documents from architects and engineers when necessary
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing input
• Perform technical and plan reviews as required
• Manage cost impacts including ROM preparation and change order tracking, review, and negotiation
• Utilize estimating software for preconstruction tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in construction management or engineering
• At least 5 years of related work experience
• MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) estimating experience
• Proficiency in estimating software such as MC2, On-Screen Takeoff, Paydirt, or iSqFt
• Knowledge of civil/site construction, foundation/structural systems, exterior wall systems, and MEP costs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and bid management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial pre-construction, estimating, or change management experience
• Mission-critical or data center experience
