About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking
- Establish effective processes and systems for projects
- Produce project plans and monitor progress indicators
- Track and document changes and project communication materials
- Prepare formal project progress reports
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and designers
- Attend meetings and draft minutes
- Ensure tasks meet accuracy and quality standards
- Support cross-functional teams and communicate key data effectively
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a PM on public sector projects
- K-12 experience including modernizations, expansions, and green field construction
- Experience managing planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout phases
- Experience with alternative contract delivery (CM/GC specific)
- Knowledge of Oregon public contracting and ORS/OAR/BOLI compliance
- Experience managing expectations of executive leadership
- Experience with public relations and community engagement efforts
- Experience developing and managing high-performance teams
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
- CCM, CACM, DBIA, Assoc DBIA, PMP, or LCI certification
