Construction Planner/Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Lead site infrastructure planning efforts including site work, building, utilities, and tooling
• Develop and manage a comprehensive Basis of Schedule (BOS) document
• Lead the schedule development lifecycle from conceptual planning through detailed execution
• Utilize Oracle Primavera P6 to schedule projects and resource load schedules
• Identify schedule risks and lead the contingency development process
• Perform quality reviews over work prepared by others
• Support the development of scheduling systems, processes, and templates
• Track and summarize schedule performance with project controls and finance teams
• Lead ad-hoc schedule studies for rapid decision-making

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling
• Experience in industrial and/or high-tech industries preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Understanding of CPM scheduling processes for multi-billion-dollar facilities
• 5+ years of advanced Oracle Primavera P6 experience
• Proficiency with Aconex, Oracle Unifer, Bluebeam, CAD, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to create schedules from scratch including WBS setup and activity coding
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to direct and manage both internal and external scheduling resources
• Experience working in high-performance, cross-functional organizations with tight timelines
