Construction Pile Driver/Carpenter Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Work with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project Superintendents
• Enforce safety regulations and act as the OSHA defined "competent person"
• Conduct safety meetings with union craft employees
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours
• Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with specifications

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the local union
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Knowledge of phased bridge construction
• Experience with impact pile driving using a crane and leads
• Experience with vibratory pipe and sheet pile driving
• Proficiency with EFCO and standard formwork systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to perform complex rigging and critical lifting

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to date welding certification
• Additional certifications in construction management
