Construction Operative

Responsibilities

• Transport digital units from the depot to the installation site via a HGV truck
• Break ground and install digital units
• Replace component level parts on digital units
• Follow Construction Design and Management regulations 2015
• Implement traffic management and segregation measures
• Follow Health and Safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements
• Use equipment and power tools safely, including working at height

Requirements

• Full driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Class 2 HGV licence
• CPCS A36 Lorry loader hook (novice or above)
• CPCS Slinger
• Competency in CAT use
• NRSWA accreditation to Operative standard
• Knowledge of CDM, excavation, and sub-structure
• Understanding of RAMS
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Competency in use of power tools such as Hydraulic breakers and Disc Saws
