Construction Mechanical Supervisor Machinery

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractor activities for the Green Diesel Production Project to ensure construction meets schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Supervise and execute equipment alignment, bolt torquing, lube oil flushing, and chemical cleaning activities.
• Line up piping systems and execute start-ups and mechanical run-ins for pumps and compressors.
• Lead field teams of foremen and workers in the efficient execution of daily tasks.
• Prepare risk assessments, JHAs, and manage site HSE rules and LOTO systems as a permit holder.
• Review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and system battery limits to ensure technical compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Significant experience on EPC Oil & Gas or refinery projects.
• Deep knowledge of machinery equipment including pumps, compressors, mechanical seals, and piping plans.
• Proven experience with the inspection of packages, vessels, columns, and heat exchangers.
• Ability to prepare large motors for solo run tests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with commissioning operators.
