Construction Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install new elevator and escalator units with high quality and efficiency
• Ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by following all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
• Conduct thorough inspections before and after installation to maintain high safety standards
• Liaise directly with customers on-site to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Travel and stay overnight as required to complete installation projects

Requirements

• Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment and engineering principles
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the elevator field, ideally in assembly or installation
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Proficiency in reading plans and performing technical calculations
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in accordance with local installation standards
