Construction Materials Testing Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and support staff on technical aspects of construction materials testing projects
• Plan, implement, and oversee QA/QC processes for construction assignments
• Identify, organize, and deploy technical resources to support group workload
• Serve as a technical advisor to clients for construction-related challenges
• Provide senior-level review of construction inspection and testing activities
• Support project studies through research, field testing, and data gathering
• Supervise and review the work of less experienced staff to foster professional development
• Work in various terrain and weather conditions on project sites

Requirements

• Ability to maintain constant alertness and communicate safety expectations

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a construction-related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction-related field
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, ACI Grade I, ATTI Asphalt and Soils, or NICET I/II
• ICC certification in Reinforced Concrete, Spray-applied Fireproofing, or Structural Masonry
• Nuclear Gauge or ADOT-specific certifications
