Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing of construction materials including concrete, soil, and asphalt
• Meticulously prepare specimens for testing
• Uphold high standards of quality control under the guidance of senior technical staff
• Ensure materials meet rigorous safety and quality standards

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of construction materials testing experience, preferably with soil, asphalt, and aggregates
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a construction or laboratory setting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Understanding of AMRL accreditation
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to pursue and obtain technician certifications such as NICET or ACI
