Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing of construction materials including concrete, soil, and asphalt
• Prepare specimens for testing meticulously
• Uphold high standards of quality control under senior technical staff guidance
• Ensure materials meet safety and quality standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of construction materials testing experience, preferably with soils and aggregates
• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of AMRL accreditation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a CMT lab environment
• Experience in a general construction or laboratory setting
• Willingness to pursue and obtain technician certifications such as ACI
