Construction Materials Testing Field Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead field staff performing geotechnical and construction inspection tasks
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications
• Review and approve technician reports for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate and schedule field technicians to support project timelines
• Assist in developing job work scopes, project estimates, and proposals
• Attend client meetings and serve as a resource for problem resolution
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on project sites

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in a construction-related field
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work in diverse terrain and weather conditions
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a construction-related field
• Project Management experience
• ACI Grade I certification
• OSHA 30 certification
• ICC certification
• Nuclear Gauge certification
• Applicable DOT/Roads certifications
