Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in quality assurance and quality control
• Lead field staff in geotechnical and construction inspection tasks
• Develop scope of services, project estimates, and proposals
• Manage special inspections and materials testing projects, staff, and budgets
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications
• Serve as a technical advisor to clients for construction challenges
• Prepare and submit accurate project summary reports
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on project sites
• Perform field and laboratory testing as required

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in a construction-related field
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work in diverse terrain and weather conditions
• Strong conflict resolution and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness for safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a construction-related field
• Project Management experience
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
• ICC Special Inspector certification(s)
• Nuclear Gauge Safety/Use certification
• OSHA 30
• Applicable DOT/CDOT materials testing certifications
