Construction Material Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage testing and inspection from initiation to completion
• Review project specifications, standards, testing requirements, and contract documents
• Supervise site and laboratory testing activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
• Provide technical guidance to testing and inspection personnel
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on technical and project matters
• Review and approve test reports, technical documents, and deliverables
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality performance, and budget utilization
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, safety requirements, and company procedures
• Investigate non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and drive continual improvement
• Support business development activities, project proposals, and technical presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction material testing and inspection
• Experience on major infrastructure, industrial, or mega projects
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, BS, EN, SASO, Saudi Aramco, and other relevant standards
• Demonstrated experience in project management, resource planning, and client coordination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities
