Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple retail construction projects from design development through construction and handover
• Manage and coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendor partners
• Review design packages for constructability and identify risks to cost, schedule, and quality
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and reporting
• Lead site-based activities to ensure compliance with design intent, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Ensure compliance with building codes and jurisdictional requirements across U.S. regions
• Participate in interface with local authorities regarding site development, permitting, and utility tie-ins
• Provide oversight of general contractors during construction phase activities through regular site visits
• Coordinate with Cost and Scheduling representatives for project reporting and dashboard updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction management
• Strong preference for retail or commercial interiors projects experience
• Proven experience delivering projects from preconstruction/design through to completion
• Experience working across multiple projects or within a program environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a client-facing role
• Willingness to travel as required to support projects across the United States
