Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and small capital upgrade projects ($10k-$1M) within a petrochemical facility.
• Manage field operations to ensure alignment with quality, performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Plan and implement construction tasks, including procurement of materials and management of subcontractors.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor progress against cost and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and engineering teams on site layout, design, and constructability reviews.
• Support design phase services including value engineering, RFP preparation, and risk mitigation planning.
• Provide oversight during the construction and commissioning phases through regular site visits and progress evaluations.
• Maintain transparent communication with Project Managers, site leadership, and HS&W teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of construction or project management experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, refinery, or industrial environments.
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience with SAP (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with I&E (Electrical & Instrumentation) projects.
• Familiarity with automation and controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA certification.
• Experience in manufacturing or petrochemical environments.
