Construction Manager Steelworks

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities
• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule
• Manage the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and meet budget goals
• Ensure subcontractors and major construction equipment services are available to maintain productivity
• Establish assignments for Construction Superintendents and monitor progress across various work areas
• Implement sound construction practices to attain required quality control at minimum cost
• Prepare periodic progress reports for higher-level management and clients
• Serve as the primary contact for client representatives, subcontractors, and government officials

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience managing steelworks on high-rise and complex building projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
